Assoc. Prof. Akari TAKAYAMA has been awarded the 2024 Female Researcher Award of the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science.

Associate Professor Akari Takayama, Department of Physics, School of Advanced Science and Engineering, has been awarded JVSS Woman Researcher Award.

Awarded research title “Investigation of the structure and electronic state of thin films and atomic layer materials using concerted quantum beams of positrons and photons”

Recipient  Akari TAKAYAMA

 

JSVV Woman Researcher Award was established in FY2020 to promote the participation and activities of young female researchers in the Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science and to quickly realize a research activity environment in the spirit of diversity and inclusiveness.

Associate Professor Takayama made the following comments upon receiving the award.

This award is the result of the efforts of all of us: supervisors, the collaborators, and the juniors and students who worked with me. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude.
