The 9th ERATO Seminar / MANA Seminar / ZAIKEN Seminar
Prof. Frank Caruso
“Engineering Particles for Biological Interactions”
The 9th ERATO Seminar of the Yamauchi Materials Space-Tectonics Project was a lecture by Prof. Frank Caruso at The University of Melbourne. He talked about the latest bio-nano science related to the design and engineering of nanoparticles, which are expected to be applied to mano-medicine for therapy and diagnostics of diseases. In addition to the control of physicochemical properties of the particles, surface modification of the assembled particles for such applications was also presented.
